    The unit appears to be well constructed and durable.It arrived sans instructions, but a simple phone call got me a very helpful a courteous representative who very quickly (and with her apology) sent me an email copy of the instructions that I simply printed out. Nearly finished with the installation, I'm stumped by the fact that the harness doesn't have a white ground wire protruding at the rear, for attachment to the HOPKINS 5-flat vehicle to trailer connector. I haven't called customer service yet because I'm awaiting replies from my friends at HD FORUMS. I'm pretty sure it's a simple attachment to the bike frame, that my limited experience is hiding on me. I'll amend this review (if possible) after I've had an opportunity observe it's performance under various conditions. So far, LUVI'N the product AND the service of USA Trailer!!

    Just what I needed to get the trailer on the road. Pretty straight forward, took about an hour to install and works as expected.

    All the wire plugged in as promised. You will need the 5 pin to 4 pin converter assembly. It was easy and worked great

    In the old days, we hacked into the wiring directly, not the best thing to do. With this harness you get ease of installation and even better you protect the bikes wiring and circuitry. Hardest thing is routing the wires, ground wires, hot wires and then of course the actual plug wires. You have to get creative to make it look decent. That is to be expected. And yes the older bikes are 5 wire system so if you trailer is a 4 wire you need the converter. I went to a camper store and make a harness just for that purpose. Easy peazy
