With more than 4000 trailers on the road, LUMINA is our best-selling trailer for seven years running. Why? Maybe it's Lumina's bright shine. Perhaps it's the trailer's ample storage, or could it be its solid construction? Whatever it is, LUMINA's got it!

Our base model LUMINA is a pull behind motorcycle cargo trailer designed with diamond tread plate and sleek black aluminum sides. This trailer boasts 14 spacious cubic feet of storage allowing two people to easily pack enough luggage for a full two-weeks of traveling. The trailer looks great behind your Harley, Goldwing, Can Am Spyder or any motorbike, trike or cycle.

We constructed Lumina's chassis from aluminum and suspended it with a torsion axle to keep it light weight and smooth towing. Weighing in at only 170lb, this mini trailer is so feather light that you will almost forget that you're towing anything at all. Perhaps you've heard this rumor: steel chassis are preferred to aluminum ones because aluminum is vulnerable to stress fractures. Really? The chassis on GM's high performance Corvette Stingray is aluminum. How's that for stress management?

FREE Freedom Pivot Ball

Leaning into a turn is a necessary (and fun) part of riding a motorcycle. Sadly, when towing a trailer, traditional couplers do not allow the appreciable lean needed in a turn, which can cause flipping, binding, or jack-knifing. To help avoid these potentially deadly situations, industry insiders (Read Article Here) strongly advise the use of a swivel mechanism, and we agree.

Unfortunately, swivel mechanisms can cost $149 or more. We understand that price may be a concern, but trailering without one risks your well-being, the well-being of your passenger, and that of others on the road. We believe this so strongly that we are giving you a FREE Freedom Pivot Ball with your purchase of a Lumina. It is our gift of peace of mind. Do not expect to find an offer like this if you buy a trailer elsewhere, DO expect to purchase a tilt ball separately and DO expect to pay more. Why pay more for peace of mind, when you can get it for free at The USA Trailer Store.

  • problem with wheel not lining up with lug bolts 4

Posted by Donald Bedford on Jul 17th 2018

Nice trailer, I hit a stopping point putting it together. The left side lug bolts do not line up with holes in the rim, I sent a message to the company on FB messenger but to reply yet.

  • Looks great, easy to put together 5

Very nice looking trailer, no problem to assemble. Only issue I had was that I pinched a wire running through the neck when installing on trailer by catching with bolt. Got it registered, now need to see how out pulls behind the street glide.

I have not pulled it yet, still snow on ground here! The tail lights could have been installed a little better, (not sitting in their enclosures properly). Looking forward to using it.

  • Nice Looking Trailer, but some disappointments 4

Posted by Larry Wooters on Mar 29th 2018

Placed the order online with no difficulty, except for some misunderstanding of one photo and caption. Should have called to placed the order so information could be clarified. To be specific, one photo shows a cooler that appears to have a cover. The caption for the picture states “Lumina Cooler Package”, which I assumed meant a cooler & cover (or just cover) came with the order. Found out quickly my assumption was wrong and it must mean the Cooler Rack on the tongue. One other disappointment was the free Trailer Cover. Nice cover (UltraGard) but the color, Cranberry over Black, is not appealing since my Trike is Black and I bought the Black Trailer. Black over Charcoal would have been my choice, which could be verified with phone order. Of course, never look a Gift Horse in the mouth, I buy the color I want...and hopefully sell the one I got. Now positive comments. Trailer was packaged well and not damage at delivery. Carrier called and made delivery appointment to my front door. Simple instructions and went together easily, about an hour, with all predrilled holes lining up perfectly. Haven't tried it out but looking forward to my first road trip in a few weeks.

  • Beautiful Motorcycle Trailer 5

Fast delivery, cheapest price around with free delivery.... we were kept very well informed with the delivery. Even a phone call from the carrier to verify delivery. The USA trailer store told us to take pictures of the packaging and boxing of the trailer before we signed for it. The trailer came packaged very well on a pallet and was delivered undamaged. My husband had it assembled in a few hours and he said it was very easy to assemble directions were spot on.

  • Northwest corner of Mississippi to the East coast 5

Posted by Captian Toasted on Feb 7th 2018

Got it home, put it together, wired the bike and away we went. From the northwest corner of Mississippi, the Tail of the Dragon, from the bottom to the top of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and finally the Outer Banks on the East Coast. Perfect!!! Leaving in April for a year ride.

  • My first trailer Lumina 14 cu.ft., very nice, easily assembled 5

Posted by Bruce on May 24th 2017

I bought this as my first trailer and am very happy with the whole experience. Only have a couple hours pulling it and so far follows in a straight line and is very smooth. I did have wheels balanced and one took a lot of weights I recommend you do that. I also bought Crowley rubber door edging at Autozone, and applied to lid and fenders on edge of the diamond plate. Makes a very smooth surface to handle when raising and lowering lid. I also welded flat sheet stock to each side of the swivel coupler where it slides into the tongue. I didn't want it so loose that it rocked left to right while towing. Only complaint may be the manufacturer of the axles did not install hub seals straight, bad for the lip on seal, so as I took them apart to inspect bearings I straightened these in the hub and packed bearings. The bearings have very little grease as they come. You will benefit by taking apart and packing. Cannot wait to take my trip.

  • Easier than I thought 5

Trailer came delivered right to my garage. I was skeptical of the reviews that said easy to put together. I liked the way everything was packaged separately like an assembly line. From the time I opened the box until the last nut was tightened was 75 minutes! Quite impressed how easy it went together. I did this alone but I recommend having someone help you lift it out of the box. Not heavy really, just awkward. Lights worked 1st time I plugged the trailer up. Seems perfect for what I want it for. I've already recommended it to a number of friends. Oh, And the price was great!
