With more than 4000 trailers on the road, LUMINA is our best-selling trailer for seven years running. Why? Maybe it's Lumina's bright shine. Perhaps it's the trailer's ample storage, or could it be its solid construction? Whatever it is, LUMINA's got it!
Our base model LUMINA is a pull behind motorcycle cargo trailer designed with diamond tread plate and sleek black aluminum sides. This trailer boasts 14 spacious cubic feet of storage allowing two people to easily pack enough luggage for a full two-weeks of traveling. The trailer looks great behind your Harley, Goldwing, Can Am Spyder or any motorbike, trike or cycle.
We constructed Lumina's chassis from aluminum and suspended it with a torsion axle to keep it light weight and smooth towing. Weighing in at only 170lb, this mini trailer is so feather light that you will almost forget that you're towing anything at all. Perhaps you've heard this rumor: steel chassis are preferred to aluminum ones because aluminum is vulnerable to stress fractures. Really? The chassis on GM's high performance Corvette Stingray is aluminum. How's that for stress management?

FREE Freedom Pivot Ball
Leaning into a turn is a necessary (and fun) part of riding a motorcycle. Sadly, when towing a trailer, traditional couplers do not allow the appreciable lean needed in a turn, which can cause flipping, binding, or jack-knifing. To help avoid these potentially deadly situations, industry insiders (Read Article Here) strongly advise the use of a swivel mechanism, and we agree.
Unfortunately, swivel mechanisms can cost $149 or more. We understand that price may be a concern, but trailering without one risks your well-being, the well-being of your passenger, and that of others on the road. We believe this so strongly that we are giving you a FREE Freedom Pivot Ball with your purchase of a Lumina. It is our gift of peace of mind. Do not expect to find an offer like this if you buy a trailer elsewhere, DO expect to purchase a tilt ball separately and DO expect to pay more. Why pay more for peace of mind, when you can get it for free at The USA Trailer Store.
Trike and Can-Am Spyder owners, you can trade the Freedom Pivot Ball for a FREE trailer cover!

Free Curbside Delivery
Our freight carrier will deliver your trailer directly to your home*. This is a service not often offered by some carriers who, in contrast, may only deliver to a freight terminal many miles away then require you to drive there to pick up your shipment. Getting to one of these terminals can require a lot of time and gas. It can be a real hassle, but with our curbside delivery, your trailer will be shipped directly to your home free of charge.* (*some restrictions apply, please view our "shipping information" page for more details.)

The trailer came in great shape, no issues. Delivery drive was great also. Put it together over a couple days ( no hitch on my trike so no rush). Assembly went will. I used the little bolts instead of the rivets to put the bumper on (easier to remove if I ever need to get in there). Finally got to pull it today and it pulled straight & true. Also cornered well. I would recommend to anyone.

I’ve had my Lumina trailer for about 5 years. First trip with it was from eastern North Carolina out to Denver, CO. It traveled great and hardly knew it was there. My only concern is that it sits kind of high so it has a nose down profile when hooked up. I’ve even added a long shank ball with spacer. I don’t believe it affects handling, just don’t like that look. Another issue is the angle of the torsion suspension arms are at different angles which result in one side of the trailer being higher than the other. If there is a way to correct this I’d love to know about it. Otherwise, money well spent!! Highly recommend!!

These trailers fit the bill exactly. We've ordered 15 so far and the only issue was not recieving the hardware for one set of fender. The manufacturer immediately sent us an entire hardware set to correct this. Top quality trailer with top quality customer service. I cannot recommend any company more highly.

From start to finish, the experience was awesome. I was contacted by a real live person that actually worked within the confines of the company. Your company seemed truly concerned with the shipping and receiving of my trailer and not just the sale. Wow, what a difference a little customer service makes. Anyone looking to purchase a small trailer for their Spider, motorcycle etc. would be foolish NOT to consider your company.
Thank you,
Robert

The assembly was easy and the trailer is excellent.

I purchased the trailer for my multi-state trip on my 2017 CanAm Spyder RT. During the trip I had to keep checking my mirror to make sure the trailer was still there. Easy to put together and very light weight. The only complaint I have is the lights for the tail lights kept falling out from under the housing unit and it looked tacky. I finally had to purchase some gorilla tape to keep the wires from dangling. Great purchase and money well spent

I’m writing this while on a motorcycle trip to the Bad Lands starting in Wis. 1800 miles on this trailer being towed by a Spyder F3L.
Very light and easy to toe. A few modifications I made we some running lights and using silicone, seal gaps for water proofing and eliminate rattling. Other than that, it been great.

This is a very nice trailer. I am currently trying to get it outfitted with my camping gear for some trips. I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend it to anyone wanting to tow a trailer with a small car or large motorcycle. Very well built.

I bought one of these trailers in 2008, pulled it over 80k miles. I recently bought a 2020 FLHTK so sold my old trailer and just bought another Lumina from The USA Trailer Store. This one is identical to my old one with a few upgrades. Better lid latch & lock, tongue stand included, fancier wheels, and the swivel coupler is a nice addition. These trailers pull great, you never know it's back there. 14 cubic feet inside allows you to pack more than you really need. I strap a tote on the cooler rack and put my cooler inside the trailer to keep it out of the sun and locked from varmints.. I also strap my folding lawn chairs on the lid. Makes for a great setup. Can't wait for the next long trip.
