Went together just fine. Instructions were lacking on installation of the taillight assembly. I let USA know that they needed to update the instructions, they said they would. Only had a chance to ride around the block with the trailer, due to January temperatures in Illinois.
Have yet to take on road trips but looks really nice for tow behind bike plan on mounting Roof Top Tent Tupui Ayer 2 as less than 100 ponds and less chance of staying in hotel at 100 a day if have good rack to sleep on. Torque wheels and used 3m5200 mount wheels to frame slow electrólisis somewhat. Ran wiring thru spiral wrap going to seal front with 3M5200 before hit road as read this can be issue. . Shortened tun as another suggested simple job. One of the side reflectors fell of glued it back on. Road test in a week will reveiw after 1000 mile run. Overall satisfied . Would be nice if made in USA . Shipping was fast and extremely professional
we've received this unit on the 14th. And started the trip on the 18th. So far we have 1100 miles on the trailer with no malfunctions ,it has been holding up to our expectations. We love the xl model for the storage, plus pulling the unit is so smooth its hard to tell if its behind you. So far s big thumbs up! I would recommend the xl model.
Unit arrived as scheduled, package was in good order( trucking company was a pleasure to work with). Easy to assemble instructions were tuff to read. Still in all no issues. Ordered the swivel ball, works as advertised. Had trailer up to highway speeds +++ and it was still behind me. Very pleased with product.
The Lumina xl is an awesome trailer right out of the box !! Assembly was straight forward with no issues. Packaging was super well done with no issues during shipment. There were 2 issues I didn't ding my review down for but will list anyways. 1. There needs to be cardboard or ? in the trailer body floor so the parts sliding around don't gouge the carpeting. We had a couple of bad spots in ours but are opting to just go with the flow and let it slide. 2. whomever prints your instructions needs to find a new printer !!!!! most of the pages were nearly unreadable. Luckily be a mechanic and a metal fabricator putting it together was easy. overall still a great product.
I think the trailer is great and built well. The only problem I didn't like is that the wiring could have been buttoned up better than what it is .
I continue to be impressed with the quality of my trailer. It has a lot of room. I have road tested it twice and forgot it was attached due to its stability. Go get you one....
I bought this trailer to tow behind a VW EOS Convertible. We've taken it on a few trips this summer with only a slight leakage in a rain storm. I've readjusted the lid to close tighter, but I think one of the pop rivets may be a bit off so am going to try to seal it to improve water seal. It tows great as most reviews have stated, you hardly know it's there. We put luggage and two sets of golf clubs in it on a trip. We bought a case of wine and put it in the back which didn't work so well. The added weight to the back made the trailer bounce too much, so we stopped and put it in the back seat. Moral of that story is "Balance"
I did a lot of searching and research for a trailer to pull behind my Harley Tri-Glide and it came down to the Lumina XL (Black). The trailer was delivered to my house with no problems and putting it together was a breeze, just take your time. after I put it together I was very pleased with the appearance ,Quality and the room that the XL has. I would definitely recommend these trailers and the customer service is very helpful as well.
Arrived faster than I thought it would!! Very easy to assemble following the instructions. Hooked it up, tried it out, pulled true over 80 mph.The swivel hitch is the key to cornering. I love it!! Now Sweetie Pie has no reason to complain about not having any place to pack all the crap she buys when we go on trips AND, I have my Cooler !!!
