Fiberglass Trailers: Finish and Paint
Our fiberglass trailers are constructed of hand laid fiberglass. This type of material is made by combining resin with woven glass mat that is then placed by hand and sculpted into the desired shape. The thickness of the weave is meticulously controlled and the glass to resin ratio is high. The end results are hardwearing products that are built to last.
After molding, we seal our trailers with a acrylic paint. This is an assembly line process, and slight imperfections may be found in the finish. Most customers find that the acrylic paint is attractive and durable enough to protect the trailer from the elements, and use it directly out of the box. Others, however, hire a skilled painter to make it look even better.
Leave It to the Professionals
We believe that using a local shop for painting and color matching is in the best interest of our customers because sometimes mistakes happen. Imagine that your brand new trailer arrives two days before a major trip, and the color is wrong. How can you resolve this problem before your trip? Using a local painter will allow you to confirm the color as well as inspect in-person the work and quality of the paint job before you accept it. Additionally, in the event that a touch-up is ever needed, driving across town to the local painter will be far less expensive than shipping the trailer across country.

Delivery was trying. RAC driver had problems in that pallets were too long & couldn't turn sideways to get it to the lift gate. Luckily xtra help around to help us. UNBELIEVABLE PACKING OF MY TRAILER. TOOK ALMOST 1/2 HOUR TO UNWRAP(BEING VERY CAREFUL.THANKS FOR THE SWIM ACCESSORIES. CAN'T WAIT TO USE IT.
I have made my own trailers to pull behind my different bikes and have had great succes with pulling them. This is my first one bought and it pulls nice.
I originally was told the trailer would be received in approximately 1 week. After a week passed with no arrival, I called and was told the production area had yet to receive the paper work to begin building the trailer. Once I spoke to someone in the production area, they began constructing the trailer and shipped very quickly. I was very impressed in the care taken to crate, wrap and ship the trailer. They did a very good job. There were a few blemishes in the paint, but for the most part, was very satisfied with the trailer.
this was ordered and delivered timely to my door. (nice driver too). I wasn't at home so my daughter accepted it. It does have some bubbles on the back finish, a few bolts weren't tight. and I will need to strap down the ice chest to keep it from tearing the cover. I will be able to give you how good of construction and how well it holds up once I start my trip as I will be using this trailer for a year long trip with maximum load. (IE canvas tent, food, clothes, solar equipment, etc. I had to figure out how to put the plate on as there wasn't any way of attaching it. (Velcro works wonders without drilling, I just hope it holds) Might want to look at that with some sort of attachment for the plate. Loved the storage area and spare tire. Got a small jack for the possible flat tire. I ordered the luggage rack for some lighter bulky things so I could keep the heavier things inside. Wish I would have waited on the sale but wanted it in time to make Sturgis and have the time to practice towing it.
