Roaring from the past with exhaust valves inspired by the 1962 P51 Mustang and blazing a path towards the future with its massive 1800cc liquid cooled engine, the beefy 2002 Honda VTX 1800 became synonymous with bone-crushing torque. Building on the success of the 1800, Honda released the lighter weight VTX 1300 a year later.  With their seminal designs, both of these muscular V-Twin eXtremes began amassing cult-like followings upon their introductions in 2001 (2002 Honda VTX 1800) and 2002 (2003 Honda VTX 1300).  To date, fans of the VTX 1800, the onetime “largest production v-twin motorcycle in the world”, still marvel at its power.

Comparable to the motorcycles they are made for, the classically styled and ruggedly built Stealth Batwing Fairings™ from The USA Trailer Store™ have won the loyalty of fanatical motorcycle enthusiasts all over the country.  One proud owner boasts in an online review, “…mounted up easy and looked great. Would do it all over again....”

We construct our Honda VTX 1800 and Honda VTX 1300 fairings through the time honored process of hand laying woven glass mat and resin.  Once cured, we seal the inner and outer shells with a protective gelcoat creating beefy high-gloss batwing fairings that are VTX and fan worthy.

Note: There are two options for fairing configuration: (With and without stereo)

(1) Fairing Without Stereo - Ship next business day

(2) Fairing with Stereo (Rockford Fosgate Speakers and TBV22 Stereo) - builds to Order. Times vary by season

*Note: Multimedia plate add-ons are made to fit most multimedia stereos such as Rockford Fosgate PMX and Infinity PRV. We provide 2 different plates. Depending on the head unit you purchase some modifications may be required. The plate measurements are within the gallery of photos (see image 5).

  • Perfect!! 5

I ordered the fairing after about a year of comparing it to others on the market. I especially like the mounting hardware and how easy it was to install. Other fairings had basically hose clamps for the mounts. My thought was I might as well duct tape the fairing to the bike!! Bottom line great product for a great price!! My only regret is not ordering it sooner. Thank you.

Fairing fit great installation instruction are a little light but manageable. There was a scratch on the front of the fairing but since I am painting is not an issue for me.

  • Easy Installation. Looks Great! 5

Put on a 2002 VTX 1800. Took about 30 minutes to install, mainly because I was missing a bolt on my bike. Looks great and does a great job keeping the wind off my chest and hands.

The batting came a day early, the installation was not difficult, although I did have to make minor adjustments to the brackets that attaches to the triple tree, seems there's a bolt underneath that keeps the bracket from moving to the correct position to mount the batting, but a few minutes on the grinder and it was on! Reassembly after separating it to install stereo was a 2 person job, but it does look and sound really cool. It was worth it! Thanks

Great quality for your money . Won’t break the bank and also won’t break itself in half ! Packaged very well

  • Excellent Product for the Price 5

Quick delivery. Well made product. Requires a little finesse to get parts together. Had to trim the DIN hole to make a radio fit, but nothing of consequence. Good product would buy again.

Great buy for the money, but could use a little bit better trimming on the edges. I installed this by myself on my vtx 1800n2.

Product looks great, had it paint to match everything turned out great! Went to put it on and noticed I was missing a few of my brackets and bolts. I contacted USA Trailer they had gotten back with me in a short period of time, they were getting ready to ship them out! Great company.

  • Good Fairing for the Honda VTX 1800C 4

The fairing fits and has a nice surface - painted mine to match the bike - but the instructions are vague. There are two sets of mounting brackets, the words nor the pictures match my bike. Had to figure it out on my own (that's why 4 not 5 stars). You'll definitely need the glen's garage headlight extension and play around with location to get the headlight to fit with the fairing. I suspect this would be the issue no matter what fairing you chose. The extension is cheap and works great.
