Yamaha Road Star Fairing
Combine vintage cruiser stylings with a 1602cc V-twin Japanese pushrod engine and the result is the Yamaha Road Star 1600. Combine a 1670cc fuel-injected V-twin Japanese engine with an American inspired, all-aluminum chassis and the result is the Yamaha 1700 Road Star Warrior. Classic and tough — the best of both worlds. With these Road Star motorcycles, Yamaha enthrones a dynasty of bikes that demand respect and deserve it.
Akin to the motorcycles for which they are built, our Stealth Batwing Fairings™ earn the respect of reviewers and consumers every day. Sculpted glass mat and resin finished with a protective gel coat create classic high-gloss Road Star fairings that are shogun tough. Good looking and built to last, these batwing fairings are the other stars on the road.
This Yamaha Road Star Fairing is designed to fit 1999-2009 Yamaha Road Star 1600/1700. But there are many different models, factory upgrades and custom aftermarket parts, so some modification may be necessary. Each fairing comes with one clear and one tinted windshield at no additional cost.
You will need Yamaha OEM parts # 5GA-28356-01-00 and 5GA-28357-01-00 "Stock OEM Silverado style windscreen Stay 1 & Stay 2" (not included). The supplied mounting brackets bolt to these windscreen brackets. (To confirm that you have Silverado brackets) The brackets will be mounted on the outside of the forks as shown in the photo below and will be approximately 14 1/2" (inches) apart.
Note: There are two options for fairing configuration: (With and without stereo)

(2) Fairing with Stereo (Rockford Fosgate Speakers and TBV22 Stereo) - builds to Order. Times vary by season
*Note: Multimedia plate add-ons are made to fit most multimedia stereos such as Rockford Fosgate PMX and Infinity PRV. We provide 2 different plates. Depending on the head unit you purchase some modifications may be required. The plate measurements are within the gallery of photos (see image 5).
