The Original Slick Wheelie Motorcycle Hauler

The carrier was delivered as expected via UPS; the box showed what I consider abnormal wear and tear, but the carrier and all components were undamaged. I found it easier to assemble the carrier after attaching it to the hitch on my vehicle. Take heed of the instructions to secure the handlebar straps as wide apart as practical on the tow vehicle. Also, as described, lubricant on the threads made lifting the bike much easier. My first use was a tow of a little over 900 miles driving a full-sized pickup truck. I consciously made turns into gas stations a little slower than normal as the bike leaned over and was momentarily out of site behind the tailgate (normal as stated in the instructions), but on the highway I traveled at or slightly above the posted speed limit (70+ mph) and towing was seamless to normal highway operations. I will also share I removed the mirrors on my bike to prevent reflection of headlights into the eyes of the driver of vehicles following or overtaking me at night, given the handlebars were about two feet higher than in normal operation. Overall, an excellent product!

I had to make one small modification. My bike has a fairing . could not use the bumper straps to the handlebars. Watching the by tipping as I was making a turn took a little to get used to. Made some herons with the brake attached and then drove 500 mile and the bright tracked well and rode well.. Quite easy to use.

Amazing product. Took 5 minutes to attach to motorcycle. Very stable once attached correctly. Make sure to tie handlebars to trailer for stability. I took the trailer on major highways at speeds up to 80mph. Three separate trips over 3hours long and no issues. My bike is on the lighter side (under 400lbs). So be conservative with heavier bikes.

The Wheelie appears to be well built but a couple things to know. The instructions are good except you need to pay attention to them or assembly takes a bit because you have to re-do. Customer Service, however, is outstanding and responded quickly. The biggest problem I have is: The receiver hitch height on my Ford Ranger off-road is too high. I bought the only receiver hitch lowering one I could find. It was too low. It made my Wheelie item unusable for me, and because it was opened I cannot return. It did allow me to hook it up, load my bike and appears be quite usuable, except for the height issue. If Anyone wants to buy it from me, it's for sell reasonably.

What a slick little trailer system! Once we figured out the straps, we were in business. We got looks and comments all over the place - many questions and "wows". It's a little unnerving at first, how far the bike leans, but it makes sense, and is 100% secure! I was impressed at how tight of a turn I could take with no issue. Over 70 mph, the steering gets a little wobbly, particularly with wind, but the bike is still totally secure. Opportunities for improvement: Instructions: poorly worded - especially when it comes to the straps. Q.C.: Center brass piece that the crank screws into was improperly placed. We had to pop off a plastic end and bang the press-fit piece so it was center. That being said - Customer Service via Facebook Messenger is lightning fast to respond, and was helpful. 4 stars is too low, 5 stars is too high - 4.5 would be my overall score. Excellent product. I look forward to using this for many years to come!

Nice little piece of hardware. Does the job, doesn't cost much, easy to store.

I wanted an easy way to get my Jeep and motorcycle out to Ouray, CO to hit some trails and passes. No one would rent a trailer to a Wrangler with a soft top and it would have been pricy also. This was perfect, not only did it give me a great way to pull my bike, but it also didn't add a bunch of extra weight (important when climbing 10,000+ feet mountain passes). I was able to bring both of my toys to the mountains to play for the week. It does look a little odd when the bike leans to the outside of the turns, but as long as the straps are secured, it's very stable. All in all it worked perfectly for what I needed. 600+ miles and no issues.

This worked perfectly on a 250 mile trip behind my Nissan Titan. No problems. It is a little unnerving at first, but it was definitely secure. Went through some heavy construction with really rough roads and major bumps. Pulled over to readjust as bike was leaning a good amount after passing through that...or at least too much for comfort. Would recommend this to anyone with a bike to get from point A to B. I already recommended it to a coworker and they ordered one! Very easy to assemble from box. Such an easy one-man job. Be sure to use some lubricant before trying to raise or lower bike. It is like night and day! Once I did that, it was an extremely easy lift. I would recommend that it come with a few zip ties for securing the clutch. Putting a bike in neutral is great...as long as it doesn't jump out of it. We had some zip ties, so pulled clutch and secured to handle for piece of mind.

Slick wheelie is genius. The law of physics will not let this fail and it is backed by quality materials and workmanship. I'm sure I'm not the first to say, I would pay a little bit more for a more sturdy crank system. The threaded rod it comes with is sufficient but would be easier to crank if it was bigger round to compensate for the length or even electric which plugs into the trailer lights socket.
