Q: Can this product also function as a Harley Freewheeler hitch?

A: Yes. This hitch safely fits 2014–2025 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler (FLRT) models. When ordering for a Freewheeler, ensure you select SKU 10-4190 for the hitch only, or SKU 10-2599 for the complete hitch and wiring harness combo.

Q: How many electrical connection wires are outputted by the harness?

A: The wiring kit provides standard 4-wire outputs supporting run, left turn/brake, right turn/brake, and ground circuits. Your trailer must have a 4-pin flat connector. If your trailer has a different connector, then reach out to us about a custom harness.

Q: Is the Harley tri-glide hitch compatible with older 2009 or 2010 models?

A: : No. This trailer hitch will not fit 2009 or 2010 Harley Tri-Glide models. Additionally, the integrated plug-and-play wiring harness will not work with any CVO Trike models.

    Put this hitch on my 2019 tri glide in about 1/2 hour. Simple project. Holes lined up great. Nothing to it!!!! Nice hitch, and would recommend it to anyone

    The hitch is of very good quality. Very stout and made well. The finish is nice on the powder coated items and the chrome finished items are pretty good. The installation sheets are pretty straight forward. The only aspect that’s a little fuzzy is what and how to get the bar lined up. To make my install easier I drove the back tires up on ramps so I could crawl under the trike fully to see. Made it a lot easier. The only thing that I felt could come with the kit that doesn’t is the TT40 bit that needs to be removed. Had to purchase that separately but no biggie. Very satisfied with the install, fit and ease of installation. Took me about 2 hours total from opening the box, reading instructions to putting away my tools.

    Was on the fence about having a removable receiver a solid bolt to frame. After watching the installation video on the Rivico page, decided this was the hitch style I wanted. Only hiccup during installation was my aftermarket slip-ons being in the way of removing the two T40 screws. Definitely easier to remove the two exhaust hangar bolts and move slip-on off to the side for direct access to the T40, not worth going at it from off angle, very nearly stripped the first screw head trying to remove. I wish I would have had the long T40 bit used in the video! Great hitch and pulls trailer like it's not back there.
